Learning From My Betting Blunders

I have been gambling on the net or at real life gambling dens for many years. I have learned, the fixation is able to grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are broke. Specifically if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of clams in only a little period of time and even today, I still go too long. It seems you are only having fun up until you decide to pay attention to your losses and the blame settles in, and of course you continue advising yourself "I can win it back" at length. It doesn’t work. Then you get queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the faster you throw away.
When you discover that you are in the black, STAY Ahead! When you start to fritter away, don’t tell yourself, "well just one more" over and over again, believe me, this tactic RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slot machines, keep an amount separate prior to starting your play. DO NOT exceed that cap, no matter how appealing. If you happen to earn, put that in an alternate cup. Do not risk your earnings regardless of what happens. After you have gambled through your initial set limit, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it’s on the net or in a land based gambling den, don’t stick at the tables or machines. Always keep in mind, there no doubt will be other days, another time. Obviously, this scheme can function for any casino game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other casino game.
Remember, gaming is supposed to be entertaining not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you can’t pay for the losses, don’t even begin.
