In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is available 24 hours, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 slots, 36 table games, and 4 restaurants. There are many other dominant Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. Another Iowa water based gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open never closes, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river based gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday 21 events.

Iowa casinos offer an excellent amount of tax money to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the bankrolling of a good many state wide projects. Tourism has grown at an accelerated rate along with the demand for processors and an increase in working people. Iowa gambling halls have been helpful to the advancement of the economy, and the excitement for gambling in Iowa is across the board.
